Mill Creek Ranch is engaged in the business of breeding and developing Kiko meat goats and we also run a small herd of Belted Galloway Cattle.

The Kiko is a breed of meat goat from New Zealand. Kiko is the Māori word for flesh or meat. The Kiko breed was created in the 1980s by Garrick and Anne Batten, who cross-bred local feral goats with imported dairy goat bucks of the Anglo-Nubian, Saanen, and Toggenburg breeds. Kiko goats were first imported into the United States by Dr. An Peischel.

In regard to the Mill Creek Ranch Kiko goat herd, we have been blessed to work with other breeders across the country to help them improve or diversify the genetics in their herd. We also take great pride in working with startup Kiko farms who seek to establish a top flight Kiko herd.

Participating in Buck Tests around the country is a passion of Mill Creek Ranch. A buck test is a competitive event where consigners compete on a level playing field to determine the participating bucks’ ability to gain weight and resist parasites. The information provided by these test results is extremely valuable data that is available to all Kiko breeders. We have enjoyed a reasonable amount of success in the buck test arena and can therefore lay claim that Mill Creek Ranch offers tested and proven Kiko genetics.. We can provide you with independent third-party data that verifies how Mill Creek Ranch genetics perform under test conditions.

The Mill Creek Ranch headquarters is Tulsa Oklahoma.  We also offer goats for sale from a partnership venture located in Kentucky.  In addition, we offer goats for sale in annual Kiko auctions in Indiana, Oklahoma and Tennessee.
